Hello!

I’m Alysha, a photographer based in Roseburg, Oregon. I started building my portfolio clear back in 2009. I specialize in providing vivid, cozy maternity, "baby-led" newborn, baby, children & family photography. As a mama myself, I know just how quickly the years pass while we’re busy in the day-to-day raising families & doing life. It is my mission to help you to pause, photograph the here & now & celebrate the many different seasons you’ll experience. Because of this, I also offer sessions in a few other fun genres like small business branding, fresh 24/48s, high school seniors, & beauty boudoir.)

I’m happy to work with you in my beautiful studio in Oakland, Oregon (see it here!), your home, your business location or outdoors! While I primarily photograph sessions using natural light, I can also work with my studio lighting if requested in advance for small-scale commercial portraits.

Fun facts:
•  Married 15 yrs & counting, 1 sweet baby girl.
•  My favorite days are the cozy days spent at home with coffee in hand.
•  Airy earth tones are my favorite. You’ll see them a lot in my work.
•  I probably own too many white and black striped shirts. See photo here for proof!
•  If I have down time, you'll find me binging my favorite podcasts, sketching floor plans on graph paper (a-frame dreaming!), hitting my favorite thrift/antique stores or sneaking away to the Oregon coast.
•  I’m a podcast junkie! My queue is filled with a mix of entrepreneurship, motherhood, homemaking & adhd related episodes. I also host my own podcast, sharing about the behind the scenes of “mompreneurship” & interviewing guests (many of whom are local!) who share their experiences & expertise. Listen here!
• I recently launched my curated collection of timeless clothing & accessories for babies & toddlers. Check out the “shop” tab here on my website! You’ll see some of the pieces in my infant photography if you follow along on social media.
