Surprise! I Moved Studios and Opened a 2nd Business!

I found a dream studio!

Here we are, in the middle of Spring 2024. It’s been a whirlwind of a year for me already, as I’m sure it’s also been for you. A lonnng time dream of mine officially became a reality and I’m still pinching myself! Okay, I’m so excited to share all of the details with you, including the fact that the new studio is rentable! That’s right, you can rent it for your creative or business needs!

Introducing Cultivate Creative Space!

It is located at 212 SE Locust St. Oakland, Oregon 97462 in the historic and gorgeous 1905 Oakland Ice House. If you’re local or follow me on social media, you may already be aware, but the space offers a mix of historic brick walls, white/cream accent walls and charming elements including a gas fireplace to heat the space. I replaced the flooring to a light wood toned LVP, perfect for neutral photos.
Many of my family and friends played a huge part in making the move and set up possible. I want to thank them all for their support and hard work during the process!

But I didn’t just move into a pretty space to keep it all to myself.

I followed a long-time dream and designed a creative space that I can share with other photographers, artists, entrepreneurs and YOU!
It’s rentable by the hour and I also offer monthly memberships for those using the space frequently. You can host your photography and videography sessions, client meetings, business and networking events, pop-up vendor markets, workshops, classes and small parties in a beautiful 900 square foot space in the historic downtown Oakland, Oregon! A selection of boho, modern and rustic backdrops, furniture, props and supplies are included with the rentals. The space is situated on the “main drag” with plenty of parking out front, directly in front of the city park and playground, and just a block or two from delicious food and drink, antique shopping and historic stops, store fronts and alleys for additional photography opportunities!
Also, you’ll see occasional vendor markets hosted in the space during popular downtown Oakland events!

My main goals with this venture: I want to photograph you and yours in a beautiful space, cultivate a creative community, and bring more foot traffic to the CUTEST little town that we lovingly know as Oakland, Oregon.

Finding, securing, and even affording a commercial space alone is tough. I’ve been in the “studio game” since 2015. I envisioned a space that I could share with others. To facilitate the creative growth of fellow small business owners and artists. To draw more traffic to Oakland, and encourage them to stick around after their rental to enjoy all that Oakland has to offer. I also hope to rent the space to other entrepreneurs that would only add to the opportunities and happenings in Oakland!
